He was captivated by art and, pursuing his passion, went on to study and later graduate successfully from Art College in Gorky. He spent the majority of his childhood in

Afterward graduation, he exhibited his work at art galleries all around Russia and became a member of the Artists Union of the USSR. During his first years as an established artist he describes his work as a “dedication to realism”.

gallery_perspectivesiiiwithframe-copyIn 1990, he left Russia and taught at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem. Along the way, he continued to expand and develop his own personal style, and created a wealth of new works.

Since 1994, he has been working at his studio in Canada, broadening the showcasing of his art on an international scale. Sergei regularly participates in art exhibitions around the world and his art is held in numerous private and public collections, including the Art Museum of Pushkin in Moscow and in Jerusalem.
